A late Tom Papley goal has helped Sydney nab a two-point win over the Cats, but it ended with a couple of contentious calls in the final seconds.
Earlier, Brisbane thumped Port Adelaide, Collingwood continued its losing ways against the Gold Coast Suns, the Giants score a thumping win over Adelaide, and St Kilda easily handled Hawthorn.
