Brawn isn’t everything. The Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G for Verizon ($899.99) is the carrier’s latest super-rugged smartphone, and it lives up to its promise of being a tough companion for tough jobs. It falls short in many other areas, though, including camera, networking, and battery. Especially for the price, this is a DuraForce generation to skip.
