‘I felt alone’
For most people, a multimillion-dollar paycheque would be a pretty enticing incentive to stay in a job.
However, for Julianna Margulies, US$27 million (approx. $34.7 million) wasn’t quite enough to get her to stick around for another two seasons of playing nurse Carol Hathaway on ER.
Instead, the actress left after six seasons in 2000, admitting the timing wasn’t right.
