Burgess was medically retired at the end of 2019 due to an ongoing shoulder injury but had been linked to a return to the game earlier this week.
Anasta confirmed to NRL Tonight that there was interest from more than one club and although the 32-year-old definitely considered a return Anasta believes Burgess playing days are over.
