Two NSW men die after receiving AstraZeneca COVID vaccines – Sydney Morning Herald
Health authorities are reviewing the cases but a clear link between their deaths and the vaccine is yet to be established.
The reporting of an adverse event to TGA post vaccination does not mean the event was caused by the vaccination, it said in a statement.
All reports to the TGA of death following vaccination are reviewed to assess the likelihood that the vaccine contributed to the event or medical condition that lead to a fatal outcome.
The TGA has so far confirmed six cases of the blood clotting condition after vaccination, including one linked to the death of 48-year-old Genene Norris from the NSW Central Coast.
