Former Socceroos forward Scott McDonald has joined his third A-League club in two seasons, signing for Western Sydney Wanderers until the end of the current campaign….
McDonald parted ways with Brisbane Roar last week after scoring nine goals in 23 games, 15 months on from his similarly hasty departure from Western United.
Carl Robinson’s Wanderers could lose players – including striker Mitch Duke – to Socceroos or Olyroos duties later in the season and McDonald, who had a long career overseas with the likes of Celtic, Middlesbrough and Motherwell, adds goal scoring experience.
