Exclusive: AFL makes call on North’s Round 7 game in Tasmania
North Melbournes Round 7 match against Melbourne will proceed as planned in Hobart on Sunday.
The Tasmanian government has lifted any travel restrictions related to the Western Australia outbreak from 5pm on Wednesday, meaning the Kangaroos can fly south without any concerns on Saturday and play the following afternoon.
The league told both clubs to prepare to play in Tasmania, but worked closely with the state government across the last few days to confirm it.
