The sad life of Riley, abandoned in a tied plastic bag and left to die

This is Riley. A ginger domestic short-haired kitten with piercing light blue eyes, who hasn’t had a good start in life.
He was dumped in a tied-up plastic bag and left for dead in an Ipswich park at the weekend, before a passer-by found him and he was rescued by the RSPCA, where officers affectionately named him Riley.

Riley was found in PJ Calligan in Redbank Plains, south-west of Brisbane, on Sunday, April 25.
RSPCA Queensland spokesman Michael Beatty was incredulous that someone
“Why would someone do something like that?” he said.
