Tim Smith reunited with paramedics who saved him after farm accident near Toowoomba
A few days before his wedding, Tim Smith was almost crushed to death between a bobcat and an excavator on his property outside Toowoomba.
He was clearing the property at Cawdor to prepare for the big day when he sustained critical injuries to his upper body and head and required treatment from intensive care paramedics.
“The bobcat got stuck in the mud and we got a 30-tonne excavator and tried to pull the bobcat out but somehow I got in the road of the excavator and that’s all I can remember,” he said.
Yet remarkably he has since recovered from the accident and has even gone on to marry the woman he calls an “absolute gem”.
