All players and coaches involved in the training session will be required to self-isolate for two weeks.
A football club in Sydneys Hills district has been placed on high alert after a young player tested positive for COVID-19 following a training session.
Castle Hill Rockets Football Club confirmed the case to 7NEWS.com.au, saying the eight-year-old had last attended a training session at Eric Mobbs Reserve Field 4 in Castle Hill on July 17 at 5.30pm with two U8 teams.
