Sydney news: Indigenous man dies in custody, gunman shoots home and car at Hunters Hill

)An Indigenous man has died at the Cessnock Correctional Centre, marking the seventh such death in custody since March 2.
The man was found unresponsive in his cell about 10:00am on Tuesday and was pronounced dead about an hour later.
NSW Greens MP David Shoebridge has called for prison authorities to publicly disclose all the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
“What will it take to stop this pandemic of deaths in custody?” he said.
The man’s death will be subject to a coronial inquiry.
