Ricciardo forced to ‘swallow pride’ after McLaren team order hands him harsh truth – Fox Sports
Daniel Ricciardo has admitted he’s had to “swallow his pride” so far this season after being completely outshone by Lando Norris, his teammate 10 years his junior….
Ricciardo is a seven-time race-winner and was tipped for big things after McLaren splashed the cash on the Aussie to take him from Renault, but has so far come up short against Norris.
The 31-year-old has out-qualified Norris on both occasions so far this season but has struggled when it really mattered, proving far slower during the races and consequently suffering the indignity of being told to let his teammate pass him last time out at Imola.
