Australia is working to secure deals for vaccine boosters and vaccines to counter evolving ‘variants of concern’.

With a population of almost 38 million, Canada reportedly reached a deal with Pfizer to secure 35 million vaccine booster shots for next year and 30 million for the year after, with options for the following year.
Because updated COVID-19 vaccines use the same basic design, their development and approval will likely be much swifter. AP
