Windows 10’s April update is causing issues with PC games, and now Microsoft is using a new feature to quietly pull it from your system.

If youve been suffering from gaming instability ever since Windows 10s monthly update rolled out a couple weeks back, the pain should end soon. The Windows 10 KB5001330 update (along with the KB5000842 update for beta testers) caused stuttering, frame rate drops, and even the dreaded Blue Screen of Death for some PC gamers, which prompted Nvidia support to tell people to roll back the update. Now Microsoft has confirmed the issue, and a fix-thats-not-really-a-fix is already rolling out.
