West Coast and Fremantle fans will have to wait until later this week to learn whether they can attend Sundays western derby at Optus Stadium despite the WA government announcing an end to the lockdown at midnight tonight.
A sellout crowd was originally expected to attend the derby after 54159 people flocked to watch the Eagles beat Collingwood in round five.
But last weekends match between Fremantle and North Melbourne was played in front of an empty stadium as the city went into lockdown.
