Carlton has been very kind to veteran trio Marc Murphy, Eddie Betts and Levi Casboult at selection, according to Hawthorn great Dermott Brereton.
Murphy, Betts and Casboult are in the twilight of their careers at the Blues and Brereton believes its time the club took a more ruthless approach and looked to the future.
They (Carlton) are not quite getting the job done. I thought they might show us a little bit more improvement, Brereton told SENs Bob and Andy.
