JPMorgan took a bet each way on cartel accusation, court told – The Australian Financial Review
The investment bank flew high-powered lawyers to Australia to tell the ACCC it was not involved in cartel conduct at the same time it was asking for immunity.
Over a series of committal hearings in late 2019 and earlier this year, defence lawyers have sought to probe JPMorgan bankers and ACCC investigators as to how evidence was collected and the case was assembled.
