In a powerful speech to hundreds of Year 12 students, Mr Pearson also praised Brisbane Boys’ College captain Mason Black for his “outrageous and exemplary courage” in delivering his own speech on sexual consent earlier this year, which ultimately went viral.Mr Pearson drew parallels between Mr Black’s call for every person to advocate for women and stand up in the face of derogatory comments, challenging the students to think the same with regards to the recognition of Indigenous Australians….
