Order of final three awards switched
The ending of the 2021 Oscars has everyone talking, but perhaps not in the intended way.
As Joaquin Phoenix presented the night’s final award, Best Actor, to an absent Anthony Hopkins before abruptly concluding the show, viewers responded with astonishment.
Many speculate the order of the final three awards which usually ends with Best Picture had been shuffled to end the ceremony on an assumed win for Chadwick Boseman.
