South Sydney Rabbitohs great Sam Burgess recently rejected comeback offers from two NRL clubs amid rumours he was considering a return to the game, his advisor has revealed.
The 32-year-old, who hasn’t played since the 2019 season, was forced to medically retire due to a shoulder injury.
Burgess revealed late last year his body felt “good” after training with the Rabbitohs inside the club’s bubble during the COVID-impacted competition in 2020.
