Australian cricketers have begun the mad dash to safety as the Indian Premier League continues amid a massive surge of COVID-19 cases.
India has recorded well over one million positive cases in the past four days alone but the biggest show in the country will go on.
The IPL returned home for a 2021 season without fans after last years tournament was played in Dubai at a time when India never recorded more than 96,000 cases per day.
