‘Team Mullet’ is no joke: Smith, Leishman dream team lands $2.7m PGA payday in thrilling playoff win – Fox Sports
Australians Cameron Smith and Marc Leishman have won the US PGA Tour Zurich Classic of New Orleans pairs event, proving “Team Mullet’ is anything but a joke.
The duo carded a one-under 70 in Sundays foursomes to finish at 20 under pay, level with Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel before beating the South African duo on the first playoff hole for a fitting ANZAC Day triumph.
Its Leishmans sixth career PGA Tour title and Smiths third having previously won the Zurich Classic, alongside Swede Jonas Blixt in 2017.
