AFL legend whacks ‘unprofessional’ veteran
Adelaide football boss Adam Kelly has defended veteran Tom Lynch after he was criticised for not immediately entering the field as the medical subsitute.
Lynch started the Crows’ three-point loss to Hawthorn as the allocated medical subsitute, and was summoned in the third quarter after young defender Will Hamill picked up a game-ending ankle injury.
However, instead of immediately coming onto the ground, the veteran forward was seen going into the Crows changerooms to do a warm-up.
