Amanda Seyfried toasts to classic award show glamour at the 2021 Oscars
Scoring her first-ever Academy Award nomination this year, the 2021 Oscars were always going to be a big night for Amanda Seyfried.
Having experimented with her ‘red carpet’ style during recent award show events (Charlie Chaplin-inspired Miu Miu at the Critics Choice Awards) as well as unadulterated classicism (floral-imbued backless Oscar de la Renta at the Golden Globes), the actress saved her most magical moment for the Oscars—and unlike the past ceremonies, attended in person.
Seyfried and her stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, picked out a custom red Armani Privé dress, with a plunging décolletage and tulle-adorned bustline that evoked Old Hollywood high glamour. Sweeping out into a wide tulle skirt that outshone the maroon red…
