Malaysia reports 2,717 new COVID-19 cases, 11 more deaths_china.org.cn – China.org.cn

KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 (Xinhua) — Malaysia reported 2,717 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the national total to 390,252, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.
Health Ministry Director-General Noor Hisham Abdullah said in a press statement that 26 of the new cases are imported and 2,691 are local transmissions.
Another 11 deaths have been reported, bringing the death toll to 1,426.
Some 2,292 patients have been released after recovery, bringing the total number of cured and discharged to 365,900,…
