Drivers urged to plan for weeks of Riverside Expressway closures

Brisbane motorists have been urged to plan ahead for at least nine nights of Riverside Expressway closures over the next three weeks to accommodate work on the adjacent Queen’s Wharf precinct.
Southbound lanes between Tank and Alice streets will be closed from 9pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays over the next three weeks until 5am the following day.

The temporary disruptions are required for safety reasons to allow structural steel to be lifted into place over the major CBD thoroughfare, according to a notice on the Queen’s Wharf development site.
