Razzies awards honour worst movies to come from year ‘when everything sucked’

Tomorrow the Academy Awards will honour some of the best films that came out of 2020.
So today is a good day to celebrate the worst.
The Golden Raspberry Awards, also known as the Razzies, were created in 1980 as an antidote to the Oscars, presenting awards for movies that were really, really not good.
This year’s Razzie “winners” were chosen by 1,097 members, who sign up online and pay an annual $40 membership fee to vote.
As a one-off, this year’s event presented a Special Governors’ Award to 2020 as The Worst Calendar Year Ever.
“In a year when everything sucked, everybody gets a little something,” the Razzies website explained.
