You may have seen our boat ramp survey program in action, this is one of the ways we collect information about recreational fishing. ????????
We cover 48 ramps across Queensland all the way from the Gulf to the Goldie. In 2019, recreational fishers provided information on 18000 fishing trips and let us measure over 17000 fish. Thanks for contributing to the science that goes into managing our fish stocks! ????????
Next time you see us at a ramp, put your citizen scientist hat on and tell us about your trip so your data can help keep our fisheries sustainable.
Here is the snapshot of the data for 2019. ????????
