Will Chambers had a mixed performance in his rugby league return on Saturday, sent to the sin bin after an alleged punch in the Newtown Jets’ 30-14 win over Mounties….
There had already been one player sent to the bin in the game before Chambers, with Mounties hooker Josh Daley punished for holding on too long in the 36th minute after a linebreak through the middle from Jack A. Williams.
Daley had only been back on the field for a few minutes though before Chambers was binned after appearing to strike out at Jordan Remfrey.
