Victoria waits for more than 200 test results from flight carrying infected passenger
More than 200 flight passengers and crew are waiting on test results to see if the latest outbreak of COVID-19 has spread into Victoria.
QF 778 left Perth for Melbourne on Wednesday, carrying a Victorian man who has since tested positive to COVID-19.
Victoria’s testing commander, Jeroen Weimar, said everyone on board has been tested and is isolating for fourteen days.
“We have 49 negative test results already for that 265 cohort,” he said.
“We’ll continue to work with them to get negative results over the next few days.”
