Perth lockdown update: Queensland’s harsh new measures for WA residents
Queensland will require anyone who has been in Perth or Peel since April 17 to comply with the requirements of the WA lockdown.
From midnight, any returning Queensland residents and exempted travellers from Perth or Peel will also be ordered into 14 days hotel quarantine.
Queensland Health Minister Yvette D’Ath denied it was an overreaction, especially on the eve of Sunday’s Anzac Day commemorations.
