Nexus has announced that its workers have raised more than £12,000 to help people who are living with Dementia.
Nexus has announced that its workers have raised more than £12,000 to help people who are living with Dementia. The Alzheimers Society will benefit from the donation after a year of fundraising efforts.
A range of events was held in support of the charity, from heritage tours on the Tyne and Wear Metro, to cake sales, raffles and other efforts from individuals.
Nexus chose to support the Alzheimer’s Society in 2019/20 as part of its fundraising drive.
