COVID alert for Noosa after fragments found in sewage of QLD tourism destination – 7NEWS.com.au

Queensland tourism hotspot Noosa is at the centre of a COVID-19 alert after fragments of the virus were detected in wastewater.
Ten suburbs in the Noosa region have come under the alert, including Noosa Heads, Noosaville, Peregian Beach, Sunshine Beach and Tewantin.
The wastewater testing result has prompted a warning for people in the region to get tested if they develop symptoms.
