NT declares two WA areas as coronavirus hotspots as Perth enters lockdown
The Northern Territory government will require anyone who arrives from either Perth or the Peel region from 12:01am on Saturday to undergo mandatory supervised quarantine.
It also said anyone who was in an “exposure site” in the Peel region or Perth and had arrived in the Northern Territory since April 17, or arrives before midnight on Friday, will need to undertake a COVID-19 test and self-isolate until they return a negative result.
The move comes after WA announced it is set to go into a three-day lockdown from midnight after two COVID-19 cases were detected and had been in the community since April 17.
