Travellers from WA now in Queensland must adhere to lockdown restrictions, CHO says
People in Queensland who have been in Perth or the Peel region in Western Australia on or since April 17 are required to comply with WA’s lockdown measures.
Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan declared a snap three-day lockdown on Friday night after a Victorian man tested positive for COVID-19 in Melbourne after completing 14 days of hotel quarantine in WA.
Queensland Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young issued the new health directive on Friday evening for those in Queensland who had been in the affected WA region.
Those people are also required to get a COVID-19 test over the weekend…
