Nick Kyrgios targeting tennis return in time for Wimbledon – Wide World of Sports
Hasn’t played overseas in 14 months
Nick Kyrgios will reportedly return to the tennis tour in time for the grasscourt season in June.
The 25-year-old hasn’t played outside Australia since withdrawing from a tournament in Acapulco in February, 2020, just prior to the COVID-19 shutdown.
He returned for the Murray River Open and Australian Open in Melbourne earlier this year, losing in the third round to Dominic Thiem at the opening grand slam tournament of the season.
