Netflix’s Shadow and Bone brings diversity and maturity to young adult fantasy book series – ABC News

Winter has come and gone get ready to “enter the fold” as Netflix attempts to capture some of the fantasy fan magic of Game of Thrones with the release of its new series Shadow and Bone.
The show is based on author Leigh Bardugo’s worldwide bestselling Grishaverse novels, which have sold more than 2.5 million English copies worldwide and been translated into 38 languages.
