Police declare burning house a crime scene as man is rushed to hospital

A man found at the scene of an Ipswich house fire on Friday has been rushed to hospital and police are treating the blaze as suspicious.
Emergency services were called to the Mahogany Street property in Raceview about 5am.
The man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition, with burns to his arms and legs, and abdominal and facial injuries.
A high acuity response unit officer was on board for transport to hospital.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said four crews were called to control the fire, which was coming from the roof of the building.
The blaze was out by 5.15am.
Police declared the address a crime scene, with investigations continuing.
