Man charged with attempting to rape woman walking in Noosa in early hours
A woman has fought off a man who allegedly tried to rape her as she walked early in the morning in the Queensland tourist destination of Noosa.
The 34-year-old woman was walking in a thoroughfare between Noosa Parade and Hastings Street around 5.20am on April 18.
A 22-year-old man, who was a stranger to the woman, approached her after coming out of a vehicle, police say.
He tried to start a conversation before allegedly grabbing her and trying to push her to the ground.
