A UK weather presenter has spoken publicly for the first time about her abusive husband, describing his behaviour as “degrading and dehumanising”.
Ruth Dodsworth who works at ITV Wales says speaking about the abuse had saved her life.
Her former husband Jonathan Wignall, 54, was last week sentenced to three years for coercive and controlling behaviour and stalking.
