AMP suffered net outflows of $1.5 billion over the March quarter according to an update to shareholders that made no mention of takeover discussions with Ares Management….
Ares lobbed a $6 billion whole-of-group takeover bid last October and a smaller non-binding deal to absorb 60 per cent of AMP Capitals infrastructure and property division in February.
AMPs quarterly update made no mention of any corporate transaction activity. A spokesman said talks with Ares were still going.
