Boxing larrikin smoked in bloody war by Australia’s nicest man – Fox Sports
Jack Brubaker once declared himself the most entertaining boxer in Australia, and he delivered on that claim with a thrilling war against Steven Spark.
The welterweight duo had been widely tipped to offer up the fight of the night on the Paul Gallen Lucas Browne card, and they delivered with eight sensational rounds.
Brubaker, 29, dropped 24-year-old Spark in the first round but the rising star fought back to claim a victory on points (80-72, 77-74 x2).
And if Brubaker is the most entertaining man in Australian boxing, Spark might just be the nicest.
