‘It’s been an unbelievable logistical mission’

It’s one thing to organise a travel bubble in a fixed location for a group of players, but the sailing world’s mammoth task of bringing together dozens from around the world and tonnes of equipment has finally been completed.
The opening event of the SailGP will be in Bermuda this weekend and the season will culminate with the grand final in San Francisco next March, with the champs taking home $1 million in a single winner-takes-all final.
