A dozen clubs snubbed this Eagle. He could be AFL’s next ‘$1m star’
Oscar Allen is looming as one of the AFLs best draft bargains of recent years. Although you sense his next contract wont come cheaply.
Despite entering the 2017 AFL draft as one of the class top prospects, 12 clubs bypassed Allen before he was snapped up by West Coast with Pick 21.
Three-and-a-half years later, Allen has emerged as a future superstar of the league, according to dual premiership Kangaroo David King, and a player that could soon demand a seven-figure annual salary.
