Canterbury forward Jack Hetherington has accepted a five-game suspension for a high shot on Valentine Holmes, his sixth ban from 29 NRL games.

Jack Hetherington is paying a hefty price for his poor disciplinary record, accepting a five-match ban for a tackle that otherwise would have cost him three weeks on the sidelines.
- Hetherington became the first NRL player to be sent off this season after his high shot on the Cowboys’ Valentine Holmes
- The 24-year-old will return to the side in round 12 against the Panthers
- He will miss the games against Cronulla, Parramatta, St George Illawarra, Canberra and Gold Coast
