Arundel murder investigation as woman was found in Gold Coast backyard identified as mother of three

A woman found dead with burn injuries in a Gold Coast backyard has been identified as Kelly Wilkinson.

Wilkinson was a mother of three young children, with her death prompting crowdfunding efforts to support them.

“In this time of need we’re trying to help the children,” a loved one of Wilkinson, who set up the GoFundMe page, said on Facebook.

It is believed the children, all under the age of nine, were at the home when her body was discovered early on Tuesday.
