Hope COVID pandemic will be under control ‘within months’ despite virus surge across the globe – 7NEWS.com.au
More new cases of COVID-19 have been reported globally in one week than ever before, the World Health Organisation says.

There is hope the COVID pandemic can be brought under control in just months, despite the latest rise in infections worldwide.
World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said protective measures such as hand washing, maintaining physical distancing and wearing masks, alongside vaccinations, could help bring the number of new cases down.
We have the tools to bring this pandemic under control in a matter of months, if we apply them consistently and equitably, he said.
