Woman found dead in Gold Coast backyard with burn injuries, sparking domestic murder probe

The body of a woman with burn injuries has been found in a Gold Coast backyard, as police seek to determine if she was victim of a domestic violence murder.

A man with serious burn injuries, including on his hands and in his internal airway, has been found near the Arundel home early on Tuesday morning.

He has been taken to hospital and is assisting police with their inquiries.
