‘Hostage’ situation as Sports Minister steps in

South African cricket is in chaos once again following the decision by the country’s sports minister to intervene in the running of the game.
Minister of Sports Nathi Mthethwa says he has “no further option” but to suspend Cricket South Africa (CSA), meaning the organisation would no longer be recognised as the governing body in that country.
