The NSW team can take heart from the Chiefs’ turnaround in fortunes in New Zealand and their near-thing against the Force.

It seems completely illogical that the Chiefs have won four games in a row, given that they lost their previous 11 (yes, 11), but the Waratahs can take heart from that turnaround. Even when the Chiefs were losing all those games in Super Rugby Aotearoa, you could see that they were continuing to work hard and do some good things across every 80 minutes. The Waratahs have arrived at a similar place in their past two matches.
